Here's exactly what your factory maintenance schedule calls for at this mileage — and what each item typically costs.
120,000 mile service
- Engine oil and filter change — 0W-20 full synthetic
- Tire rotation
- Replace spark plugs — second or third set depending on prior service history (3.6L Pentastar iridium; 2.0T iridium)
- Replace coolant — OAT extended life flush and refill
- Replace serpentine drive belt
- Replace front and rear axle gear oil
- Replace transfer case fluid — ATF+4
- Replace brake fluid — DOT 3
- Full brake overhaul inspection: pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines, and parking brake
- Replace manual transmission fluid (6-speed Tremec) or inspect automatic transmission fluid (8-speed 850RE)
- Inspect all CV boots and u-joints on front half-shafts (especially Rubicon with front locker engaged frequently)
- Inspect and clean throttle body — carbon buildup on 3.6L Pentastar direct injection port injection
- Inspect fuel system pressure and pump operation
