60,000 mile service
- Engine oil and filter change per OLM (dexos1 Gen 2 full synthetic)
- Tire rotation
- Replace cabin air filter
- Replace engine air filter
- Replace spark plugs — iridium (5.3L L84/L82 and 6.2L L87: AC Delco 41-162; 4.3L EcoTec3 V6: same iridium spec — factory interval 97,500 mi but many owners replace at 60k for preventive value)
- Replace rear differential fluid — Mobil 1 synthetic 75W-90 (GM limited-slip additive required if Eaton Locker or G80 Gov-Lok rear axle equipped)
- Replace transfer case fluid (4WD models — Auto-Trak II or Dexron VI)
- Replace front differential fluid (4WD models)
- Inspect coolant — DEX-COOL extended-life orange coolant; first change at 5 years/150k miles per GM, but inspect for contamination at 60k
- Inspect brake fluid condition — replace if moisture-contaminated
- Inspect transmission fluid — 8-speed 8L80 or 8L45: GM recommends inspect at 60k; Allison 10L90 on 6.2L: same
- Inspect and lubricate all grease fittings (ball joints, tie rod ends — if equipped with Zerk fittings; many 2020 models have sealed joints)
