Water Pump
hard DIY~4h jobWhat it does
The water pump is the heart of your cooling system — a centrifugal pump driven by either the serpentine belt or the timing belt that circulates coolant through the engine and radiator. Imagine the cooling system as a river with a pump station: the water pump is the pump station. When the pump's impeller (spinning blade inside) wears out, seal leaks, or bearing fails, coolant circulation slows or stops. The engine overheats within minutes because heat has no way to escape.
