Sway Bar Link
easy DIY~1h jobWhat it does
Your car's sway bar (also called an anti-roll bar) is a thick metal rod that connects the left and right sides of your suspension. It fights body roll when you go around corners — imagine a rigid rod keeping a seesaw level. The sway bar link is a short connecting rod with ball joints at each end that attaches the sway bar to the suspension arm. When those tiny ball joints wear out, the link gets loose and clunks or knocks every time the suspension moves — especially over bumps or when cornering.
