60,000 mile service checklist
Here's exactly what your factory maintenance schedule calls for at this mileage — and what each item typically costs.
60,000 mile service
- Engine oil and filter change — 0W-20 (hybrid) or 5W-30 (EcoBoost)
- Tire rotation
- Replace cabin air filter
- Replace engine air filter
- Replace spark plugs — 2.0L EcoBoost iridium (factory interval: 60k miles for the turbocharged engine)
- Replace AWD rear differential fluid (2.0L EcoBoost AWD models)
- Inspect eCVT/hybrid transaxle fluid — 2.5L hybrid (Ford-spec hybrid transaxle fluid; inspect condition, change if severe-duty)
- Inspect 8-speed automatic transmission fluid — 2.0L EcoBoost (replace under severe-duty/towing schedule)
- Inspect coolant condition — both powertrains use Ford orange OAT extended-life coolant (first change at 100k or 10 years); hybrid models also have a separate inverter/hybrid-system coolant loop — inspect level and condition
- Inspect accessory drive belt condition
